SIOP 2022 has come to a close, but we have the pictures and new knowledge to keep with us forever. Enjoy Rhabit Analytics 2022 SIOP Conference wrap-up. We met new friends, reunited with those we haven't seen since DC, and learned a lot about how our peers are innovating in topics like feedback, continuous listening, and performance management.
Our top panels:
360 Feedback, We Need to Talk: How Can Our Long-Term Relationship Be Saved?
Panelists: Alexander Schwall, Ph.D., A. Silk McCance, Ph.D., Irina Cosma, Ph.D. and Stefanie Pugliese, Ph.D.
These four leaders from Walmart, Salesforce, P&G, and Rhabit Analytics brought their insights into why 360 feedback is failing, and what they are doing in their roles to drive better results for leader interventions.
Making Feedback Hot Again: Bringing Today’s Top Trends Into the World of Feedback
IGNITE session: Alexander Schwall, Ph.D., Aditi Sachdev, Ph.D, Ronald Landis, Ph.D., and Jon Gove.
This session highlighted the necessity of technology to create better feedback programs. Alexander Schwall cheekily responded to a question about validity that "clearing out the feedback demons” should be more relevant than ensuring 100% validity. Truly a “had to be there” moment for an exciting session.
It’s About the Conversation! Having High Quality Performance Discussions.
This symposium revealed what parts of the performance process are broken, and what leaders from Walmart and US Foods are doing to create better performance experiences. Their programs ranged from testing a 3-point rating scale, to incorporating well-being into mid-year conversations.
We also got to sneak a little time in the posters and in the vendor area!

The Rhabit team will be sharing their best practices for how to plan, announce, and rollout a high-adoption feedback program in less than a month. Feedback doesn't have to be hard - sign up to learn the fastest, easiest way to get it into the hands of your employees.
See you in Boston in 2023!
